BHP Laboratories is the largest independent materials testing laboratory in Ireland, providing a comprehensive range of testing services for the classification of waste materials, recycled materials, and end of waste analysis.

Our testing focuses on the classification of these materials and assessment to the relevant standards. For waste materials to be moved off site, testing focuses on WAC Rilta Analysis Suite with the HazOnline Waste Classification Report and HazOnline Soil Recovery Report. For recycled materials it is the TII Series 600 with a focus on Class 6F3 for materials containing crushed concrete and recycled asphaltic materials. The End-of-Waste (EoW) analysis determines when a recovered or recycled material stops being classified as waste and becomes a usable product. All testing incorporates the requirements of soil recovery, landfill facilities, and regulations required for Article 27 and Article 28 classifications.

All testing is carried out by experienced technicians in INAB, UKAS, & MCERTS ISO 17025 accredited laboratories, with results delivered to agreed turnaround times. We also provide on-site sampling and testing, with a fleet of fully equipped vehicles and field operatives covering all of Ireland.
